Our patented products deliver perfection in energy efficiency, technology, and ease of use. Our claim is a wood-aluminium window that has been optimally developed for energy efficiency. This is proven by the so-called heat transfer coefficients (U-value for short), a measure of the thermal transmittance of a building element.

The world’s first passive house window with highly thermally insulated wood and wood-aluminum frames and triple-glazing was developed by Günter Pazen as early as 1993. Here’s why windows and doors from ENERsign® are so sustainable
- Wood is a renewable resource.
- Wood stores CO2 over its entire, useful life.
- The grey energy (amount of energy required for the production, transport, storage, sale, and disposal of a product) of wood is 50 times less than that of PVC and even 1000 times less than that of alumnium.
- Wood-aluminum windows have a long service life, and their high energy efficiency saves valuable heating energy and CO2 emissions over their entire service life.
- All products used for coating the interior surfaces of wood are so-called healthy paints that emit no or only very small amounts of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
- The ENERsign products can be disassembled, and the individual parts can be recycled separately or fed into the closed-loop recycling system.
The company philosophy of ENERsign®
- The untreated wood waste from our construction and procution sites is used for heating purposes.
- The electricity requirement of our production is mainly covered by a photovoltaic system on the roof of the company.
- The thermal insulation of our offices and production facilities complies with the passive house standard.
